Gingersnaps

On Friday my friend and I were cooking gingersnaps. They are cookies. It smelled delicious when we finished. The gingersnaps were awesome and easy to make. I recommend the recipe because it combines many flavors.

I like this gingersnap recipe because it is soft and chewy and tastes delicious!  The cloves smelled kind of bad but when you cook it together with cinnamon and ginger it smells good. I would give it 5 stars
TIPS:
1.       Sift the flour to remove bad stuff.

2.       Don’t put balls of dough too close on the baking sheet because they spread when cooked.

Gingersnaps are the best! I liked making them a whole lot! I scooped the dough and made balls. Then I put them on a tray to cook in the oven. They taste really sweet and are soft. They are the best cookies in the world and I think you would like to cook them.

In class we made gingersnap cookies, and they were okay. They are they not big or small--they are perfect in size. They are perfect to take on trips, to class, and for a little dessert for lunch. I bet you will have a good time with this recipe. I give this recipe 4 stars out of five.

TIPS:
1. You should put oil on the baking sheet and in the measuring cups and spoons so it does not stick.

Ginger snaps are easy and fun to make, especially sifting the flour. The smell of the spices was disgusting. I enjoyed eating it but it left a bad taste on my tongue afterwards. Once is enough for this recipe.

I was sick so I couldn’t make my cookies on Friday. I made my cookies today, Tuesday. I rolled the dough into little balls like chocolate. Next, I put it in the oven for 12 minutes. When they were ready, I was going to touch the cookie but they were too hot. When they cooled off, I used the spatula to lift the cookies but they fell apart so then I scooped them and they came off good.  I was so excited to eat my cookie and I shared my cookie with my friend and some of them I will take to my house to eat with my family. These cookies were so yummy and they get 5 stars!

Welcome to the NCA SOAAR Cooking Blog!

Hi! We are from Nicaragua and we are part of the NCA cooking class. Even though we are 12 or younger,  I think we can teach you some stuff. We are going to post fun recipes that you can do with your kids, or the kids can just do them by themselves, because I bet you this will be easy. We'll also review what we cook. We're going to give our opinion if the teachers pick good recipes to do for the students! We hope you enjoy our intro blog--we will be posting soon!
