Fondue! (or "Fun" Do!)

By Grade 2

We made fondue in cooking class. First, we washed our
hands then scooped out the middle of our piece of apple.
Then we put a stick into the apple and dipped it into
chocolate. We repeated this with bananas, pineapple and
marshmallows. The sticks are called spears and the food
is called dippers. It tasted very awesome (Luis), delicious
(Addie), so good (Ivan).

Fondue
Fondue comes from Switzerland and it used to be just
melted cheese but now it is chocolate, too. Fondue is a
stick with stuff on it that you dip in melted chocolate.
Some of the stuff we used was sticky marshmallows,
gooey bananas and moist apples. One special ingredient
that gave a good aroma was orange flavoring. It was
delicable! This recipe gets 4 stars, but I would give it 50 if
I could.

Last Tuesday, we made fondue with another person and her name is Miriam. It was so fun. She is one of my best friends. I liked it. What I liked most about it was that we melted chocolate in a fondue pot and we used fruit: banana, apple and pineapple. It was so fun! I would give it 5 stars.
List of Ingredients:

On Tuesday we made fondue. We first cut apple and banana in thirds because Miriam, Ammany and I were there. Emilio hurt his feet so he was at the nurse. Manuel was absent. After that we made the hot melted chocolate. You put chocolate chips that look like kisses, then put cream on the fondue pot, then you mix. There is a rectangle that has orange flavor that is super powerful. You need to put a little bit. After you mix and it is all melted, get a bowl. Then get the banana and dump it in all the chocolate. Then have a big bite. It will be fabulous when you eat it. This is my favorite cooking class ever! I give it 100,000,000 stars!

Fondue

The fondue was amazing. The ingredients were chocolate chips, cream, orange flavoring and fruit. I loved it but I think it would have tasted better without the orange extract. My favorite fruit to dip into the chocolate was pineapple! I give this recipe 4 stars.

Pita Pocket Reviews

Pita Bread sandwiches
By Emilio Longsword

This is the best recipe in the world, and choose all the ingredients that you want!
First you need to know that pita bread is a type of bread. The bread is half circle, medium, soft and mild.

I chose these ingredients:
Honey (gold, sticky, sweet and powerful)
Banana(yellowish white, liquid and fruity)
Peanut Butter (we didn't have it)
I would recommend trying with honey and peanut Butter. You NEED to have honey. J J
Pita Bread Sandwiches
My opinion of these pita pocket sandwiches is that they were too easy to make because we did this as a class cooking activity. Our cooking activities usually involve more effort. They did not have enough pizazz! It was not as fabulous as I thought, but I think it would be a good kid’s lunch.
These are the ingredients that I put in my pita:

Strawberries (4/5 stars): Juicy and sour, these strawberries gave it the sweet touch.
Cheddar Cheese (5/5 stars): Heavenly and melty, this added just the right flavor.
Bananas (4/5 stars): Smooth and ap “peel” ing (lol), this mixed with the strawberries just right.

Feel free to do these pita pockets any way that you would like!
